It’s been a while since I have done a post on my outfits and I still have a lot of catching up to do. But it’s better late than never. A few days ago, I met up with a dear friend of my mines to catch up before she left the country to Guatemala. We stopped by a sushi spot, Beyond Sushi to fill our growling tummies. Well…I was the one who was hungry really and surprisingly we found out it was a vegan sushi restaurant. Something definitely “beyond” the normal sushi. I had tried their most popular dish, Spicy Mang roll made with Black rice – Avocado – Mango – English cucumber – Spicy veggies, Sauce: Toasted Cayenne.
The texture, possibly because of the mango, created a feel of meat in it which made me enjoy it even more.

As we were about to go our separate ways, of course I had to take some photos of my what I wore that day. Ok, so I went a little on the girly side, it happens. I wore an Ann Taylor multi-color crimson printed top layered with a casual Charlotte Russe slate blazer and paired with a perfect pair of Lulu’s graphic laced shorts.
Never forget finishing touches, a colorful plaid Coach bag and studded Bakers sandals.
Just before we left to our trains, we had to take a selfie and the backdrop created the perfect moment of the picture. How ironic. lol Thanks for reading and stay alert!
Interesting article. I really enjoyed reading it and liked the outfit you wore. I don’t know if I would try vegan sushi though. I worked at a sushi bar/restaurant before and I must admit that I am not a fan of any kind of sushi.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. You worked at one? Wow. Well vegan sushi is just all vegetable and fruit. And if you’re not a fan of any sort of meat thats including fish, then I think this is something to give a try. But I guess you have been really turned off from it since working around it.
