What I Wore

Seeing Through A Cat’s Eyes

Happy Monday lovies! I hope you enjoyed your weekend as much as I did. On Saturday, I had a birthday dinner with a group of friends at Tao Uptown, an asian spot in midtown Manhattan. The restaurant had nice decor and delish food. Afterwards, we went to a lounge for some drinks and danced the night away. But there is even better news, today is actually my birthday! I only celebrated it early on Saturday due to the holiday.

I guess I am in a “neko phase” now because this is the second cat theme outfit I have worn. I bought this dress from Nasty Gal and I instantly fell in love with it. As unique as it looks, I couldn’t keep my “eyes” off of it and it was hands down going to be my birthday outfit.  I love mass set if cat eyes and the two cuts at the shoulders which resembles the shape of cats’ eyes. One of the most memorable feature to this dress is the back. With this open cut, it adds a bit of sexiness to the look. I decided to do with nude color shoes because it would elongate the legs since the dress was so long, down pass the knees. The color block clutch was a perfect statement piece because not only did it matched my shoes, it added a pop of color simultaneously. This dress is definitely a fashion statement that can be worn in several different looks and I hope to share it with you all in the near future. Thank you for reading and stay fashionably fabulous! xoxo
