Happy July everyone! Can you believe we are already in the second half of the year? Time just flew by…especially when you are having fun. That just means I need to share more favorites for the upcoming months because I know I have been slacking on the series. So without further a due, keep scrolling to check out C’s June favorites!
What is the most important rule when it comes to our face? Skincare comes first. If you don’t take care of your skin, what you put on top of it will only hide the problem. So what do we do? We drink lots of water, eat a lot of greens and of course use topical treatments to preserve the youthfulness of our skin. This is why I love Symmetry Anti-aging face serum by The Edinburgh Natural Skincare. I love a good face serum and this does the trick. Contains all natural ingredients, with no artificial colorings, preservatives or fragrance oils. And as an icing on top, it’s handmade.
I always have a hard time finding a shade that fits my complexion correctly. Due to the fact, I normally have to use a combination of two shades to obtain my color. But with The Influencer by Sunday Riley, I no longer have to deal with that annoyance. It is definitely light and clean on my face and it has lasted longer than my previous foundation by Maybelline. My shade is 200 and I have been very content with it so far.
I enjoy a good shade of red lips like the next girl but not all red shades are created equally. Received as a gift, the Katy Kat gloss in wine feline shade is one of my favorite glosses. It has a good formula and rich in color. Although I don’t wear lip glosses like I used to, this baby provides the color and moisture my lips needs. Did I mention how cute the packaging is?
One of the many essentials we need when it comes to Summer is a good ol’ face freshener, especially when makeup is worn. I always have known Evian to be a just mineral water brand. But to my surprise, they have a facial spray such as this one. It was a freebie during Fashion Week and it makes a difference when you are running around all day and spritzes your face for a refresh. “It hydrates your skin, helps fix your makeup, freshens and purifies.” The fresh and fix makeup element is what grabbed my attention.
Isn’t this the cutest thing? A hand sanitizer in a shape of a birdie. That’s what it is a called anyways and this little guy isn’t your ordinary hand sanitizer. The conventional cleaning agents dry out your skin because of the alcohol. While alcohol is still imperative in sterilizing and killing germs, Olika adds the moisture back into your skin at the same time with essentials oil and nourishing aloe vera. Additional to the birdie, you can use little napkins stored at the bottom for your cleaning purposes such as your phone.
Marquise earrings are one of my new earring obsessions. I fell in love with them once I had tried them on. They are sophisticated and make a classy statement. It can also be worn in more than one way; a 2 in 1 type of earrings. You can wear them as a standalone pair of studs if you are just in a mood for something a little more minimalistic.
Last, but not least the soft leather crossbody bag by GiGi New York. It’s chic, lightweight and fits all these other favorites that I have mention above. Not to mention it’s versatile and can be worn as a crossbody or a clutch. A transition from day to night. What girl doesn’t love a fashionable yet functional accessory?
And that’s a wrap folks! What were your favorites for the month of June? Thanks for reading and Happy Sunday!
