Last Wednesday, February 11th, I attended the Nolcha Fashion and media preview for New York Fashion Week, held at the fabulous Fogo De Chao (Brazilian Steakhouse) in Midtown Manhattan. The venue was gorgeous and talk about a magnitude of space! An upstairs, a second floor which is where you would enter and a downstairs for dining. A few designers were present and displayed previews of their lines coming out for Fall 2015. Some made other priorities besides showcasing in Nolcha Fashion Week this year.
The first brand that I came across was SOLO One -Step, a fairly new company, is a one step gel polish manicure system, eliminating the usually applications of base coat, gel, color then top coat to your nails.
With this “at home” manicure system, everything is fused into one step and last up to two weeks or more with proper care. In retrospect to your usual use of acrylic gel that can destroy the healthiness of the nail, SOLO uses a special gel made from protein to help strengthen your nails while making them look fabulous. They have a variety of colors to choose from to fit your personal style.
After applying color, this kit comes packed with a LED lamb to dry the nail to perfection. It is suggested you use the light twice to get complete dryness of the nail. The next brand I was introduced was The Haute House, a design studio that showcases local and international private designers catering to style-savvy customers. They provide clothes, shoes and accessories with superb quality and customer care. This model was wearing one of the designs on the rack. A chic pearly white romper accessorize with a silver statement necklace.
I absolutely loved this white backpack. So clean and chic. It was from another designer showcased by The Haute House.

The next fashion brand I came across was Schuyler 4 Ltd, a fashion distributor showroom that carries specifically four European men’s sportswear designer collections; ALBERTO, haupt, CODICE and CARL GROSS. Their products are made with fine quality fabrics, mindful placed details and personalized fitting. They are sold in men’s specialty stores nationwide. The last brand I looked at was a very fashion company , ADORA, handcrafted bags made in Italy from the finest Italian leather. These practical bags feature an internal pouch and notebook for your everyday use. They come in four colors; brown, black, blue and orange.
