Carmen Marc Valvo RTW Fall ’17 presentation showcased at the Studios Pier 59. The inspiration behind this collection was the vivid colors of a sunset. Ranging from bold tones transitioning into darker shades, giving a visual of the sun vanishing below the horizon. Orange, pink, blue, lavender, red to brown and black. Many of the garments were maxi-dresses that were plissé or had a crinkled effect, other dresses were waisted gowns and long tunics. A couple of looks included a trench-coat worn with skirt made with an interesting fabric and a silk coat with metallic detailing in the collection. The line exuded elegance with flowy and feminine silhouettes. A collection worth the beauty to see.
