Recap! This was Day 4 of New York Fashion Week. I attended the Michael DePaul F/W ’16 presentation at the Agora Gallery. Most of the pieces were gowns with the exception of three pieces; two jumpsuits and a tutu dress but the overall presentation were remarkable.
This collection focused on elegance and intricate amount of luxe detailing; variety of fabrics & textiles, rich textures, embroidery and refinement. Michael also uses neutral tones with a touch of earth and bold colors. The aesthetics was very refined and polished. A couple blended textures were at play and soft silhouettes with practicality. Each garment was tailored effortlessly and quintessentially timeless.
