NYFW Recap: Zang Toi FW17

As this was going to be my first time seeing Zang Toi FW17 runway show, I wasn’t sure what to expect. But when collection started to grace the runway, I fell in love. The collection was divided into two segments; assortment of classy casual wear; suits, jackets, pants and sweaters and then an array of formal wear.

Most pieces were color-blocked with blue and black design with an admixture of a few white stunning ensembles. There were also an array of fabrics; dark satin, silk and velvet pieces giving each look an essence of sophistication with the accessorizing of pearl tasseled necklaces and jeweled chokers.

In the second half of the segment consisted of extravagant and more upscale pieces (dresses, skirts & pants) with vibrant purples and sultry blue. The collection showcased beautiful structuring, clean streamlines and tailing volume. This was a stunning line of ready to wear that is translated into royalty, fit for a queen and/or maybe a king.

Hope you enjoyed this beautiful collection. I would love to hear your thoughts about it in the comment below. Thank you for reading and stay tuned for more NYFW recaps!
