Last month, S.O.S (Students on Styling) hosted a skin and body care launch event at Michael’s Place Boutique shop in Staten Island. S.O.S had prior focus on makeup but has now expanded and moved on to body and skin care, showcasing a preview of their new launch line.
The fashion stylist, creative director and owner of S.O.S, Lora Brooks were giving free makeup makeovers to customers inside the shop. She presented skin care tips and advice on how to better take of the skin and what kind of regime they should follow to obtain healthy, glowing skin. Goodies were given to customers who bought skin care products as well as prospects who had their makeovers done.
Refreshments and finger-food were available at convenience and my favorite part of the refreshments was the fruits and delicious Sangrias!
During my stay at the event, I couldn’t help to notice the artistic decor around the boutique and decided to capture a few of the decorations.
