I love the fall AND the winter, two of my favorite year-round seasons. I am not big on trends, although there are exceptions when I will follow a couple if I really like the style. Sometimes my own style may fall in the trend that is current. But for those of you who fashion trends, here are some of the trends that are current for the fall:
1. Over-the-knee Boots
(I am a big sucker for boots in general especially high knee, over the knee or thigh high boots). Paired with leggings or a fit-and-flare, it’s a perfect fall piece to go with any look.
2. Studs and embellishments
These edgy pieces adds attitude and a polished look.
3. Animal Print
A bold accent perfect for this trend’s palette of neutrals colors. It’s versatility allows mixture and matching with other prints to chic perfection.
4. Leather
It’s a classic, timeless and very versatile. As a strong fashion statement, leather can be rocked plain or with plenty of hardware.
5. Menswear inspired shoes
What shoes are as comfy as flats when it comes to trends? With the metallic finishes and rocker studs, they can go with your favorite jeans or skirt with a edgy finish.
6. Plaid
One of the core trends of the fall, we love the vibrant mixtures of color, the relaxed nature and high fashion vibe.
7. Booties
An absolute must in every girl’s closest. They go with everything from leggings, jeans to skirts with an instant attention.
8. The Statement Coat
The coat that allows us to show off our style without compromising our warmth. From checks, houndstooths or oversized fits, they are a trend that is cohesive with any mood from luxe to metallic jeweled tones.
9. The Knits
Sweaters flaunting quotes to playful prints, we love to bring out our creativity and inner quirk. Here’s homage to the season of witty knits.
10. Luxe Jewels
Jewel up the many pieces of clothing in your closet, from leather jacket to sweaters and sweater shirts. It a must have for this season.
