On October 31st, The Set NYC presented a masquerade runway show called the Masquerade Art Gala With midnight fashion show sponsored by Elucid Magazine. It was a great show and I really enjoyed myself. I took a lot of photos of great costumes and of the runway models and met all sorts of people. From songwriters, singers, fashion designers, bloggers, photographers, artists and more.. I had the opportunity to engage in some photos with a few models and one of the fashion designers Jason Christopher Peters, who attended and held showcased his fashion line in the show. Display of art and fundraising of Abolitionista which is a non profit organization that protests against children being trafficked into the sex industry. I met the founder, Thomas Estler, who was very passionate about this cause. The team asked for donations; I donated $5 for the cause. The money went to the financing of manga books that would empower children and inform themselves of predators of trafficking through comic books. I enjoyed every minute of the event and I look forward to seeing more showcases. Thanks for reading and stay uniquely fashionable!
