NYFW Recap: Miguel Vieira FW17

Miguel Vieira FW17 runway show was another one of my favorites during New York Fashion. Instantly, I fell in love and googly-eyed almost every piece that strutted down the runway. For the record, I love cool contrast colors, so black and marshmallow white was the star of this show. But the collection also carried other color palettes; dark and light grays and navy blue.

There were varieties of structured silhouettes from slim suits, relaxed overcoats to fine trousers for men and slim and voluminous silhouettes, maxi and mini skirts and over-sized garments for women. The aesthetics had impressive tailoring and personalized prints, fabric admixture, elements of layering in a casual tone with tailored ones, pleats and manipulation of fabric structuring. There were many fabrics and textures incorporated into this collection; lace, fake leather, cashmere, neoprene, knits, wools, aplaca, tech fabrics, jerseys just to name a few.

Tell me you liked this collection. It was just full of edginess. Let me know your thoughts on the collection in the comment box below. Thank you for reading and we are about to wrap up NYFW recaps. We have two more to go!
