On the first day of New York Fashion Week, I attended the shows at Skylight at Moynihan Station. The first show I got to see was Rookie USA, a multi – brand premium kids’ retailer. The fashion show showcased apparel, footwear and accessories, primarily in brands that kids liked. Starting with Levi’s, Converse, Hurley, following Nike and lastly, Air Jordan. The style of each brand embraced every kid’s essence in fashion; fun, comfortable, laidback, colorful and of course stylish. Oh wait, you can’t forget age appropriate. One feature that stood amongst the other brands was Hurley‘s 3D detail. We had to wear 3D glasses to see the real effect on the clothing which was pretty cool. All in all, it was a cute show with young performers (singer and dancers) and kids of celebrities.
