Now that the fashion shows and presentations are out the way, we can now focus on the NYFW Men’s recap outfits I wore. Just a couple, since I wasn’t able to attend all four days. I re-styled a couple of pieces that I have already worn (post here) and (post here) and others are completely new.
I am sure you are familiar with the off-shoulder trend that you see all over. So for my first look, I re-styled my flowy silhouette cardigan in a different way I have never worn it. Surprisingly, I never got with the program of it yet, lol, only because I didn’t come across any that suited my taste. Plus, I was in a moment where I had no idea what to wear, so I grabbed whatever would keep me cool because it was terribly hot that day.
I thought…”let me dry it off the shoulders”, paired it with my DIY cut out jeans and yes…DIY. I hated these jeans with a passion until the day I cut them up and wore it. It was like I received a brand new pair of jeans. Then wa-la! I had a completely renewed look and kept it comfortable and chic with my black loafers. The sunglasses and the dainty necklace were additionally new.
I bought new pieces, top and pants, for my second look. I never had red pants especially in trousers before so I was estatic when I across one. Also on the last day of NYFW Men’s, it was very hot, so a flowly cami was appropriate for the weather. This outfit came out better than I expected. In my head, it didn’t seem all that great but after physically putting it together, I was feeling the outfit. I definitely wanted a pop of white somewhere so wearing my white retro boots completed the palette. I threw on a statement necklace and kept it pretty simple with the rest of my accessories.
