9 New Year’s Eve Outfit Ideas

Can you believe 2017 is right around the corner? This year flew by so fast, it amazes me that we are already about to start another one. I guess every new year has its new goals, adventures, struggles, accomplishments for ourselves to look forward to. But before we have to focus on those things, let’s direct our attention to some outfit ideas to get you ready for the New Year! I didn’t just catered this to the ladies but to the men as well. ^-^
You can never go wrong with sequins and sparkles. It is usually the center piece of outfits when it comes to the “end of the year” holidays. I love the way this sequins top looks when mixed with a clean, sleek pair of trousers and a matching pair of sparkling pumps. Featuring a purple top

Jazz up your basic earth tones with a shimmery skater skirt. You can look ultra chic with some thigh high boots without having to compromise the warmth of your legs. Featuring a grey shirt

I just love a good ol’ jumpsuit because of it’s forever chic-ness. Opt for a monochromatic style for a clean look.
Now just because it’s NYE, doesn’t mean your pieces have to sparkle. You can always bring out the shine in your shoes or accessories. Featuring a white purse

Black pants/leggings are very similar to the classic black dress. You can never go wrong with a pair leggings and sexy black pumps. Keep the palette simple starting with a clean, sharp white blouse layered with a statement coat for a punch of color. Featuring Alexander McQueen

Every girl has one of these in her closet and while some attire can get tired or outgrown, a black dress never goes out of style. You can repurpose your dress with festive gold or silver accessories to make it feel new all over again. Featuring midi rings
Now for the guys…
Similar to the look with the black leggings, the palette starts with tonal colors and layered with a statement coat of geometrical prints. Then add a nice sleek pair of loafers to dress up this relaxed look a bit. A red bowtie adds some personality and splash of color. Featuring Etro

Here is a second relaxed look, elevated with slim black tie and structured plaid vest. You can opt for a relaxed or slim fit pair of jeans. I love the casual, classic boot. Featuring mens slim shirts

For the guys who want to dress up a little bit, Have fun with more prints, layered with a structured blazer and pants mixed with a eye – popping pair of silver shoes. Don’t forget to add a little color with some accessories. Featuring mens leather strap watches

Ladies aren’t the only ones who enjoy a little shimmer. If you want to go for the ultimate pop, try a metallic starred blazer layered over a colored turtleneck. (Don’t be afraid of turtlenecks!) You will be surprise how stylish it can look. To keep it consistent, you can match some snippy oxfords to your jacket. Have a nice duster coat for warmth and  wear a sleek watch for that finishing touch. Featuring a duster coat
Well there you go, nine combined outfit looks for the girls and guys. Give them a try, if down to the T or put your own spin on it. It’s up to you. These are just some ideas to help you get the ball rollin’ so you will be  looking fresh to death, finishing the old and starting the New Year with a bang. Thank you for reading! Until then, Happy Styling!
