Happy Friday everyone! I missed you guys and I apologize for my absence from the blog. There was a lot on my plate that took my attention and time away from writing content. But now I am back and better than ever! Happy New Year! I know it’s sort of late but we are still in January, so it’s fine. I decided to start the year off with a post about my birthday weekend that has just passed. It was a chic birthday weekend if I say so myself. I was so ecstatic to be with my good friends who took the time out of their schedule to celebrate with me. Not everyone could make it but it was a great turn out. It was also an all-day outing so some people went to one thing and others to another.
My birthday weekend started with brunch at the Pinto Garden, a cute and chic Thai restaurant I came across. They had such amiable decor, I couldn’t help snap a picture.

Of course, I wasn’t going to miss this opportunity to snap some photos in this delightful and charming setting. I just recently bought this long red dusker coat (similar here) and I am in love. I have been wanting a red coat for quite some time and layered it over my red blazer (similar here). This was the theme, that polished red.
Another current new favorite is these classic pointed toe heels (right here) and they are anything but basic. The heel is not too thin but not too thick either and I love the low cut to the ankle. It’s comfortable, stylish and it looks great with a chic pair of pants or jeans. I paired an embellished tank (similar here) with a pair of printed pants (right here) to add a little fun to the look. Let’s not forget to keep it chic with velvet quilted purse (similar here).

I ordered the entree marked on the menu above. Pinto Garden put their own spin on brunch and the dishes were not only delicious but had a nice presentation too.

A few hours after brunch, I had a reservation at the newly opened restaurant called ZAVO. It is a Mediterranean cuisine with beautiful, sophisticated decor and unique options on the menu. They were so kind to invite me to their complimentary dining to celebrate my birthday. If you are looking to try Mediterranean cuisine with an elegant setting, I recommend this spot all the way.
We started out with some cocktails and then some appetizers which were anything but disappointing. Great presentation and fulling to the stomach. Shortly after, we received our delectable desserts. I promise you, I savored every spoonful of that citrus creme brulee
Lastly, to end the night, we partied at Karaoke Nemo! One of my favorite spots to go. You can rent get a private room which is located on the upper level. If you don’t mind singing your heart out in front of a few strangers, the open space is located downstairs in the basement. I was given so many shots, I literally lost count how much I consume but don’t worry I know my threshold. But it sure was a night to remember and I thank everybody who was able to come out and make my birthday weekend an unforgettable one! Thanks for reading!
