C’s April Favorites

Happy Thursday fashion lovies! I cannot wait till this weekend cause I have some fun plans to take advantage of. But besides that, I decided to start a curation of my favorites of whatever, on a monthly basis. I wish I started it in January but it’s never to late to start now. So here it is. C’s April Favorites!

This is an exfoliating facial scrub by Garnier that I use every other day. I have oily skin and charcoal is very good for the acne prone because it actually does unclog the pores and draw out the impurities. It’s the only scrub I am using and it has done well for my skin so far.

I love a good facial mask, at anytime. I haven’t particularly used this packet yet, but I previously used another one similar to this, same brand  (DABO) but it had a different purpose for the skin which…I completely forget what it was. lol But this one is more catered to dry skin but as you may know, during the winter, our skin tends to dry out. So this is a great way to keep the skin hydrated and moisturized.

First time purchasing this type of product.  Vitamin E eye patches to reduce puffiness by PS..Pro. I normally don’t have puffiness issues but I know when I lack a certain amount of sleep, I wake up with puffy eyes. No bueno. So I decided to give it a try to see if it really works. I’ll let you know how it is.

One of my favorite beauty must-haves, Love & Beauty makeup remover wipes by Forever 21. I have used a few brands of makeup remover wipes and this is the best one I have came across. I never have to use more than one sheet to remove my makeup, leaving the skin feeling refreshed and breathable. It is infused with cucumber and lemon to detox, brighten and refresh the skin. Might I add, this product and the two above are Korean-made and I love Korean skin care products because of their good quality and it agrees with my skin so well.

Two big shades of lipstick or lip gloss I really love are nude and pink. Other colors are secondary. I was looking for a good nude lipstick for a very long time, after I had finished my one from L’Oreal. I still think that was the best nude lipstick I have worn but I didn’t feel like spending a lot of money on one little lipstick. So I found a couple of nudes I really love wearing; one regular and a nude pink by PS…Pro. The pink is lustre and the nude is matte. I love both shades and they keep my lips moisturized and looking good.

One of my favorite mascaras I have ever worn. Volumizing Effect by Kiko Milano. It was given to me for my birthday but I didn’t start using until this month. What I really like about it, is the curvature brush that makes it easier to apply because it is practically the shape of the eyelids. Secondly, it helps extends my lashes and creates a fuller look. It also doesn’t leave behind a smudge either above or below the lids because I really hate coming home after a long day looking like a raccoon.

Not only do I love wearing shades but I also love collecting them. I was able to snag these bad boys from Primark and I have worn all of them so far but one. I don’t mind a standard shape of sunglasses like the aviators on the left but I am always looking for a unique pair to add to my collection and to wear of course.

I hope you enjoyed reading about my favorites for April and I will be doing another for the month of May. Thanks for reading and Happy Styling!
