Happy Hump Day! We are half way through the week already and boy, does the days move fast or what? Plus Halloween is in two days, I guess you are preparing for something out the ordinary to a fun party. I probably won’t be doing anything for this Halloween. I don’t know, haven’t thought about it that much. Meh.
Besides worrying about a Halloween costume, for this look, it was all about dark hues evoking some edgy. Using a basic palette color such as black as a backdrop for a draw on accents and detailed aesthetics. I started with a Joyce Leslie crop top with a fun geometrical textured design pair with Forever 21 faux leather leggings (you can wear this with anything!). I, then layered my top with an Armani Exchange olive green cardigan. I love this cardigan because it’s a versatile shade of green and perfect for the fall. For a splash of Autumn color, I styled my Forever 21 tote bag with my outfit.
As I spoke about accents and details aesthetics earlier, the gold design on the crop top, gold studs on the Mandee ankle strap pumps and the gold metals and zippers on the cardigan all accented and created contrast against the darker hues.
