Into the Polka Dot Blouse and Denim

I am having a pretty good time in the month of August because I have relatives visiting. I haven’t seen them in years and I am so happy to be spending time with them. Today, I am wearing a polka dot blouse and denim. I have one other polka dot/square and triangle blouse but that suddenly went missing for a few years now. I absolutely have no idea where it could be because it’s nowhere in my closet. Anyways, I never used to like the polka dot print but over the years, it grew on me inevitably. I love the preppy element of the bow tie that adds some personality to the blouse. I also been wanting to invest in more denim but I am quite particular in selection. This is probably the closest I have done to a full denim monochrome.

I paired my blouse with a pair of basic light blue jeans and layered the top with an architectural vest with zippers and studded aesthetics. It added a little edge and hardness to my look. Naturally, I paired this look with my first brand new pair of mules. I decided to give the mule trend a try and it’s not bad at all. It definitely makes an outfit chic. I love the dual textures on the mules which gives it more dimension. Lastly, I finished my look with a quilted cream clutch, mirror reflective sunnies and a delicate set of stacked rings. Not bad huh?

What did you think of this look? What type of denim looks are you into? Let me know and comment. Thank you for stopping by and happy styling!
