Neko in Edgy Textures

How are my favorite fashion lovies?! See? I told you there were going to be fashion events in the near future to keep you updated on. I can’t wait for fashion week and although I am not going to the Mercedes-Benz or Couture fashion shows, I will be attending other fashion shows that fit perfectly into my schedule for the those following weeks. Yesterday, I went to Skyroom Times Square with one of my fashion friend for a free fashion show. The Judith Ann Collection by upcoming NYC fashion designer Judy Warren. It was very pleasant show and I am hoping to see more of the designer’s work.

My outfit of the day was monochrome of textures. The star of the look was my cute neko top (Foxy Lady) which I absolutely fell in love with because I am a cat lover and I truly adore almost anything that is neko or cat related.  This outfit actually hoarded different textures in one look. The neko shirt had a rough plaster like texture that draws out the cat face and my  jacket (Armani Exchange) which I just love and love due to its color blocking and pairing of different fabrics. The front panel made of pleather with asymmetrical collared cut for the edgy and motorcycle look then the cream sleeves and back to soften the look. I also really liked the silver and black threading woven throughout the sleeves and back section to still maintain an edgy balance. The high-waist jeans (Foxy Lady) with countless rips really texturized the look endlessly. High waist are one of my favorite type of jeans because not only do they elongate the legs but gives the waist a nice shape and curve.

What sort of textures do you like to layer together? Thank you for reading and stay fashionably fabulous! xoxo
