Happy Hump day! I hope everyone is enjoying this week so far. So…even though it is months into the fall season, I am going to do a bit of back tracking with the clothes. Looks that I didn’t necessarily get a chance to post earlier on. This look was actually curated for a magazine I was published in and we were to dress in a style that represented our individuality.
I started out with a Lulu’s crop top that had these long tassels deriving from the sides. It made it a bit of a challenge in terms of how I could wear it. At first I had wrapped it around my waist regularly but come to realize I could create an “X” factor on the front of the shorts which elevated to quite an edgy pop. I, then layered it with a classic Byer California striped blazer evoking a tailored chic look. Adding some urban coolness, I paired the crop top and blazer with Foxy Lady high-waisted shorts. One of my favorite accessories, Nasty Gal love letter clutch was the perfect piece to balance out the black in my attire.
Since I still wanted to keep it a little more on the luxe side, I wore Michael Antonio strappy heels and threw on a H&M statement geometrical necklace to polish my look.
I love to mixed edgy and elegant accessories.
