Hey loves! Now that New York Fashion Week is over, it’s time to share with you guys a “wardrobe series” of the outfits I wore during the week. I am declaring this look as my first NYFW outfit, although I wasn’t at a fashion show, the event (LULU*S) hosted here was a kick off night for the fashion week.
So apparently I went for an edgy and funky look with a play up unexpected mix of prints. Stripes and leopard! The Foxy Lady acidic jeans combined with my Charlotte Russe leopard booties and hot pink lipstick were eighties elements. I wore a Hautlook striped silhouette top to bring a bit of balance and soften the hard pieces of the look. My Charlotte Russe moto jacket is always a statement piece of it’s own and instantly takes an outfit up a notch in the edgy department. Not to mention, I didn’t realized until after I curated my ensemble that I had compiled shades of blues and black and white.
I am never afraid of having fun with prints. Leopard is a loud and bold print, so my booties were another statement piece of my look. Also if I do go for leopard, I would usually buy it in black and white. I personally think it looks better in these colors then in the traditional color. What did you think of this look?
